There is a base stylesheet added to the module which should work with any theme. At the moment almost 30 research websites are supported and the list is still growing. It enhances places with diachronic and current GOV data, creating a position hierarchy. A sidebar module that provides quick links to popular research web sites, using the individuals name as the search reference. webtrees is designed to be extended and modified using modules. So I wrote some code to regularly copy my data from into my own site, running webtrees (open source software). Also, if you have pictures of anyone in this tree, I'd love to have a copy.Ī is a great research tool, but they provide no public (free) access to my tree. #Webtrees places series
The aim of this series is for internal refactoring to improve performance and prepare for the final switch to an MVC framework. But I'm always glad to add "cousins", "uncles", "aunts", etc. The 1.5 series of webtrees raises the minimum PHP version from 5.2 to 5.3. Note that I've focused (mostly) on my immediate ancestors (referred to as a pedigree tree). Hint: From an individual's page, the Charts menu items are relative to that individual. You can also use the search box (upper right of every page) to find persons and places of interest to you. Use your mouse to drag the tree around, and click on individuals to learn more about them.
